This is a phrase to remember! What foods are the best for us to eat? According to Dr Douglas Graham, author, lifetime athlete and raw fooder, the following words are the criterion for optimal fare for us humans:
Whole – unprocessed
Fresh – just picked, harvested
Ripe – sweet, juicy and full of nutrients
Organic – grown in healthy soil; not chemically treated
Raw – not frozen, dried or cooked
Plants – fruits, berries, vegetables, leafy greens, sea vegetables, herbs, spices, nuts and seeds
Learn the phrase by heart (it is only six words, so no sighs please! :-) and apply when you go grocery shopping and you will be fine! Actually more than fine – you’ll be on a roll towards vibrant health; inside and out! – Whole, fresh, ripe, organic, raw plants!
