Coconut oil is a great raw food ingredient. And also a wonderful personal care and beauty product.
But did you know what else you can use it for around the house? Even in your car?
Find out what this great alternative to more potentially toxic and most likely more costly products can do!
Here are some of the most popular ways:
1 Wipe the leaves of your indoor plants with a small amount of coconut oil on a lint-free cloth. Will cleanse and add a glossy finish.
2 Use it to lubricate squeaky hinges and other sticky mechanisms instead of WD-40.
3 Sanitize, clean and condition your wooden cutting boards (and other furniture). Keeps them from drying out and warping.
4. Clean and condition the inside of your car by adding a small amount to a soft lint-free cloth. Rub in and wipe off excess.
5. Remove chewing gum from virtually any area, including carpets and hair.
