Meet Dani!
Dani is the guy behind the Raw Tribe in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Raw Tribe
is just a small place in the Nørrebro neighborhood of Copenhagen, a good 20 minutes walk from Strøget, the main street in the city.
Hole-in-the-wall
Raw Tribe is a nice café; well actually more of a “hole-in-the-wall” eatery, located in a basement. It is clean and cozy and offers seating outside on the street as well, a pedestrian street – no cars, just bikes.
Lots of them!
Raw Tribe has been up and running for a year and a half now serving lunches, juices, smoothies and cakes. And only raw foods! Hooray!
Specialty
Their specialty is a veggie wrap served with 2 salads, called “Lille Vegi” (meaning little veggie).
The “Lille Tribe” (small Tribe) consists of a veggie wrap, 2 salads, a juice of your choice and a brownie. This is what I picked for lunch:
“Lille Tribe” lunch plate included fresh goose berries!
Dani generously served me 3 salads – all with their own yummy dressings! Other items they offer are raw pizza and lasagna.
I chose a green juice called “Green Ginger” made from cucumber, spinach, apple and ginger to go with my lunch.
Here is Dani juicing all the ingredients
On the Top-LIst 2011
The Raw Tribe made it to the Top-List of all the best cafes in Copenhagen 2011. Congratulations!
Why not pay them a visit when you are in town!
A refreshing juice or smoothie always hits the spot and so does a brownie too!
When you see Dani say hi from the raw food teacher in Fort Lauderdale!
