And sometimes fresh / raw is better than dried.
Karmic Consequences
The first time I really became aware of how karma is linked to food and our food choices, was when I read David Wolfe’s book The Sunfood Diet Success System.
In this book he shows how different kinds of food affect us. He made a chart showing various foods from those which give the most positive effect down to those with the worst influence. According to him, it is better for us humans to eat meat / animal muscles cooked than eat them raw, considering karma. Boiling and frying food from the animal kingdom interrupts and delays the karmic consequences. Thus, it is more advantageous to eat the meat cooked than to eat it raw.
This is what David Wolfe says about raw meat: “Eating raw animal meat is not only dangerous, it causes more intense karmic consequences.”
Foods Which Add Positive Karmic Effect
And when it comes to fruit, he states it is better to eat the fruits fresh than dried: “Apart from breast milk, fruits are the only ones that bring positive karmic effect. Fruit vibrates at a frequency that attracts our attention. It is the way the trees have invented to travel from one place to another! Fruits are the pregnant embryos of the trees.”
Quite poetic, right?
More about this topic and the karma chart itself, you will find in my book Eat With The Heart.
