Radishes are great to eat as snack or chopped in a salad. Use the greens as well, if fresh. They are a little bit pungent and bitter, almost like mustard greens, but quite beneficial to us. Add them to a smoothie, along with a ripe pear for sweetness, and enjoy!
Ingredients
1 cup radish greens
1 bok choy leaf, large
1 stalk celery, large
1 ripe pear
1 thin slice of ginger
1 tablespoon lime or lemon juice
Optional: 1 tablespoon chia seeds
Water
Preparation
1. Place all the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth, adding water to your liking.
Enjoy the green smoothie!
