Cool As A Cucumber!
Summer is approaching and with that comes luscious flowers and plants, warm ocean water to swim in AND HOT weather. Really hot weather!
Foods carry certain energies
The foods we eat have an effect on us. They carry certain energies. Some foods have a warming energy, some are neutral and then again some are cooling. In a really warm climate we need to eat foods that not only supply us with water but that have a cooling effect on us as well.
Choose foods with certain energies
Wouldn’t it be beneficial to choose more of the foods with cooling energies to help us out? But then of course you need to know which ones they are. The same goes for winter or colder climates; try to avoid the foods that have a cooling effect on you and choose more of the warming ones.
Juicy watermelon
We have all enjoyed a juicy slice of watermelon on a hot day, right? Delightfully refreshing, vitalizing and cooling. But there are so many other wonderful “cold” foods to choose from besides cucumber and watermelon.
Bonus
I have made a list of all foods which carry cooling energies that can refresh and vitalize us in hot weather. It is yours for free when you attend this class. Make use of this list when choosing ingredients for your meals to stay cool (calm and collected as well!) whether it is breakfast, main meal or snack.
In winter
Besides picking cooling foods for hot climate, this list is great to study when choosing what to avoid when preparing meals in colder weather – to keep warm!
