Why 4th Generation?
Back in 1910 Ben Litowich, only 16 years old, started a produce company in Michigan. He expanded over the years and later on established himself in Chicago.
His son Bud became his business partner in 1945.
In the 1960s Bud began coming to Pompano Beach, FL, seasonally and in 1975 the third generation came aboard, his 20-year old son Ben. Together they formed Ben-Bud Growers, one of the premier fruit and vegetable importers and distributors in the nation.
Ben’s children, the 4th generation joined the company in 2005, hence the name.
There is a little café area where you can sit down and enjoy lunch or a snack. Choose from their many daily raw food specials found in the deli.
Or how about a sweet treat?
Lots of options with new creations being brought out every day.
Maybe have a Chocolate Short Stack to go?
Mm mm, very chocolaty and very filling!
