Raw Food Dishes

There are so many varieties and different textures and flavors that can be created with natural, unprocessed plant foods. No need at all to feel deprived! Below are some popular raw food dishes just to give you an idea:

• vanilla ice cream and mango sherbet
• chocolate mousse and apple pie
• crispy salty kale chips and crunchy cinnamon granola
• sweet almond milk and creamy tomato soup
• hummus and pesto dips
• onion bread and crispy cookies
• ranch or ginger-garlic dressing
• not-tuna pate and chili stew
• Portabella steak, gravy and mash

These are only a few items to show you the variety that can be obtained. Salty, bitter, spicy, crunchy, crispy, chewy etc. all these flavors and textures can be achieved. Aren’t we lucky!

A raw food dish can also be very simple. Two or three oranges, or an avocado with a little lime squeezed over it or a bag of trail mix; all these make a filling nutritious snack or meal. By the way the fastest fast-food is an apple!

Desserts

Desserts definitely need a special chapter when it comes to raw foods. They are naturally sweet with all the variety from berries, fresh fruits, and dried fruits like dates and raisins or honey. They have delicious good-for-you fat that carries all the flavors, and they have spices to further enhance them. Also when it comes to raw vibrant desserts and the sweet treats, they come with no-guilt attached! Can you imagine sweet delicious desserts that are actually good for us? Heaven!

Problems and solutions usually present themselves at the same time. They come together in a package.
How about this one: the word “stressed” spelled back words, is “desserts”!
